Our Fabulous 50th Reunion
23rd and 24th November 2024
at Curlewis Golf Club, Bellarine Peninsular

Further to our email last year, the Fabulous 50th Reunion will be held at Curlewis Golf Club (a great venue) on the Bellarine Peninsula from Saturday 23rd November to Sunday 24th November. Quite a few have elected to stay on the Friday 22nd with some even staying on the Thursday 21st. Although there is nothing formal planned on the Friday night, the gathering will be convivial. Curlewis Golf Club has a good dinner menu.
Our proposed format is as follows:
Saturday 23rd November
| - | Arrive in the morning and settle in. (see note on travel to venue) | |
| - | 12:30pm | Light lunch at Curlewis Golf Club |
| - | 2pm | Interesting talks with a historical theme |
| - | Late afternoon | free time to chat, walk, explore or go to a winery |
| - | 6pm | Buses from Curlewis to Jack Rabbit dinner Venue |
| - | 6:10pm | Arrive at Jack Rabbit Restaurant for pre-dinner drinks |
| - | 6.45 pm | Dinner at Jack Rabbit |
| - | 10:30pm | Buses back to Curlewis Golf Club |
Sunday 24th November
| - | 10:30 am | Brunch at Curlewis Golf Club |
| - | 12pm | Farewell until next time |
The Reunion package is for the Saturday and Sunday. Additions or subtractions to the weekend will be up to individuals to change and can be done on our website when you register (see below
GETTING THERE
- By car from Melbourne about 1hr 20 (probably the best way to get there(
- Sorrento Ferry (you can take your car) and leaves every hour from Sorrento to Queenscliff (ferry crossing 45 mins)
- By ferry, (no cars), from Docklands to Port Arlington (leaves 10:40 am arrives 11:50am) Pay on the ferry, and then some incumbents, already at Curlewis, could pick you up, or we shall get a bus depending on numbers. Return ferry on Sunday is at 9 am or 5 pm making getting there a bit pain particularly if you want to come for brunch .

DRESS
We felt you should dress befitting this most important of occasions for Saturday dinner, be it Tails, Black tie or Suit. Your Esteemed chairman, to set the tone for the evening , will wear tails/black tie and has commenced the grand diet!! NO THONGS, NO TRADIE SHORTS OR SINGLETS
GOLF
Peter Lucas has contacted Curlewis and has booked 2 rounds of Golf for the Monash group as follows:
Thurs 21st Nov. – 4 tee times from 1: 16pm (up to 16 people)
Friday 22ndnov. – 5 tee times from 9.56 am (up to 20 people)
As it on the special accommodation rate It does need to be prepaid Via the accommodation. and can be added to your invoice, or paid on the day at the golf pro-shop at full price if you are not staying at Curlewis .
